Excitement

It is…
…the butterflies.
…the nervous ticking.
…the anticipation of slipping.
…the knot in your throat.
…the heat in your face.

But it is also...
…the surge in heartbeat.
…the racing thoughts.
…the wide eyes soaking everything in.
…the tingle in your toes.
…the urge to explore your new surroundings.

And it is always…
…the spark to ignition.
…the warmth of familiarity.

…the smile when returning home.

Raw Motive

<You told me I "don't have the right".>
Yes...
<I find it fascinating you think about it in terms of the other.>
<It applies to you too.>
<Yet you think in terms of the interest of the other.>

Point taken.
I guess that proves where my raw motive lies.

Starved

<Let me in.>
You don't have the right to do that.
<Let me in.>
No
<Let me in.>

Shut up!
You started it knowing the consequences.
You knew how you think.
You knew what you'd feel.
Shut! Up!

<I know...>
<But that doesn't mean I can't talk.>
<...so I say again,>

<Let me in.>

Go away.
Leave me in peace.
You think you've been starved,
But you've only been refusing temptation.
You're alright. Stick with what you've been doing.
Everything falls into place in the end.
And looking back the puzzle is perfect.

Nuance

It's the small things that catch my attention.
I barely notice a change in a style..
Instead I'll see the change in demeanor.

Like where attention is allocated,
Or when expectations resettle,
Or changes in known habits.

Some people want the grandiose gestures.
I find purity and sweetness in the small details.

It's without conscious effort things goes the most noticed.
